Job summary

Austin Health is seeking a Pharmacist Registrar for Cancer Services to deliver advanced clinical pharmacy care to oncology and haematology patients. The role supports a structured two-year Cancer Medicine Registrar Training Program with opportunities for direct patient care, leadership, education, and research.

It spans inpatient and outpatient settings and integrates with multidisciplinary teams. The successful candidate will contribute to governance, quality improvement and medication safety

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of oncology and/or haematology pharmacy practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute to quality improvement, governance and medication safety initiatives.
• Demonstrated organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Minimum two years post-registration cancer pharmacy experience or equivalent experience consistent with ANZCAP Pharmacist Resident level practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical pharmacy services to oncology/haematology patients and support Cancer Medicine Registrar Training Program.
• Work across inpatient and outpatient cancer services and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care.
• Demonstrate leadership, education, quality improvement and research activities within the Cancer Medicine program (with option for formal post-graduate enrolment).
• Participate in workplace-based assessments, research projects, professional development and mentorship programs.
