Job summary

Cancer Care Associates in West Perth is seeking a Medical Receptionist for a permanent part-time 0.5 FTE role. The position generally covers Monday, Wednesday and alternate Fridays during normal business hours, with some flexibility.

You will support a dedicated oncology team, manage patient liaison, billing, data entry in Episoft and Genie, and coordinate with hospitals and nurses to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hospital or day hospital setting is desirable.
• Specialist practice experience and proficiency in Genie software.
• Experience in a medical practice or oncology setting is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Patient liaison: welcoming patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments.
• Billing and data entry in Episoft/Genie, managing records.
• Liaising with hospitals, specialists, and allied health professionals.
• Supporting doctors and coordinating with nurses to deliver patient care.
