Job summary

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent qualification).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Previous experience in an acute hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care under the direction and supervision of registered nurses.
• Observe and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
• Respond to patient and family queries, escalating to the registered nurse as appropriate.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive patient environment, including bed making and equipment checks.
• Uphold patient privacy, dignity, and respect at all times.
