Job summary

Be Recruitment, in partnership with SDN Children's Services, seeks a Speech Pathologist for an on-site role at SDN Beranga, a preschool for autistic children in Rooty Hill. Three days a week with flexible hours (8-4 / 9-5 / 10-6), delivering 1:1 play‑based communication support during preschool routines.

You’ll work with families on focused sessions, contribute to a small, supportive team, and have potential to move to full-time as the service grows.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech Pathologist with SPA eligibility.
• Experience with play-based communication and early intervention is preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively with families and a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver 1:1 play-based communication support during preschool routines.
• Conduct family sessions in clinic rooms and coordinate with the team.
• Maintain notes, planning and documentation within paid hours.
• Collaborate with educators and a behaviour support practitioner on-site.
