Sedgman GmbH seeks an engineer to work closely with senior staff, spending three weeks a month on-site at Sonoma in the Bowen Basin. You will fly in at week start and return on Thursday or Friday, with a fourth week at our Brisbane head office to collaborate with site and office teams.

You will contribute to key projects, perform process checks, and support improvements in a company that values innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Metallurgy, or Minerals Processing Engineering.
• Adaptability to work across office and site environments.
• Valid driver’s licence with ability to drive to site in future.
• MS Office proficiency and strong written/verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive plant process checks, maintenance inspections, and audits daily, weekly, and monthly.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage process consumables and improve plant operations.
• Provide specialised technical support focusing on improvement, maintenance, and modification.
• Conduct design checks, address process issues, perform calculations, and improve plant performance.
• Maintain and validate data integrity of the metallurgical data management system.
• Undertake process modelling and manage/supervise small projects as required.
• Compile accurate reports and update As-Built drawings and procedures.
