Job summary

Lanyonscapes is seeking highly skilled and experienced Pressure Welders to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. The role is based in Queensland with multiple site locations and offers a permanent, full-time opportunity.

You will handle welding, fabrication, and finishing tasks across diverse projects, reading blueprints, and ensuring safety and quality. The salary range is competitive with superannuation included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in welding and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Commitment to safety procedures and quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Shape and bend metal sections and pipes using hand tools, machines, heating and hammering.
• Align parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.
• Study blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Prepare metal stock by selecting and cleaning.
• Cut marked metal using hand tools, flame torches and cutting machines.
• Join metal sections using welding, bolts and rivets.
• Inspect welds for bead width, penetration and precision.
• Finish products by cleaning, polishing and grinding.
• Maintain clean and smooth welds through filing and chiseling.
