Job summary

Eaton is seeking a field-based professional to lead day-to-day site delivery on UPS, battery, switchboard and critical power projects across Australia and New Zealand. You will coordinate on-site teams, ensure safety, review drawings and manage handover to customers.

This 24-month fixed-term role requires strong planning, communication and problem-solving skills, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

Trade or tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related.
Experience delivering electrical, UPS, battery or critical power projects on site.
Knowledge of electrical installation, commissioning and reading drawings.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate day-to-day site delivery across UPS, battery, switchboard and critical infrastructure projects.
Act as Eaton's on-site representative and primary contact for site-related matters.
Coordinate field service engineers, subcontractors, electricians, logistics and commissioning personnel.
Drive safety requirements including pre-starts, toolbox talks, risk assessments and LOTO processes.
Oversee installation activities and ensure work meets drawings, specs and quality standards.
Coordinate testing, commissioning, defect close-out and customer handover.
Track progress against milestones and manage risks early.
Maintain site communications and relationships with customers and stakeholders.
