Job summary

Munster Services Group seeks an experienced Payroll & Accounts Officer to join our Brisbane team. This hands-on role blends payroll processing with accounts duties in a busy operational environment, collaborating with project, administration and field teams.

Key duties include processing payroll in Xero (including payroll tax and Workcover), managing accounts payable and receivable, and completing month-end and quarter-end reconciliations.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience in payroll and accounts work.
• Experience with Xero payroll.
• Willingness to learn new software.
• High attention to detail.
• Excellent time management, communication and organisational skills.
• Exposure to the construction industry is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Processing payroll in Xero, including payroll tax and Workcover administration.
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Completing end-of-month and end-of-quarter reconciliations.
• Preparing BAS information and fuel tax credit calculations.
• Responding to payroll and accounts queries from across the business.
