Job summary

Happy Therapy is a Western Sydney-based team of speech and occupational therapists focused on early intervention and collaborative care. This full-time, on-site Paediatric Speech Therapist role is based in Mount Pritchard, NSW, and involves assessments, therapy planning, and delivering interventions for children with speech, language, and feeding needs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and membership or eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia.
• Experience in paediatric assessment and intervention across speech, language, social communication and literacy, including work with children with disabilities.
• Strong client- and family-centered care, including working with carers, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to develop clear therapy goals, write reports, maintain timely documentation and manage a varied clinical caseload.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional learning and reflective clinical work.
• Registration and clearances as required to work with children (WG/WCC and NPC), and valid work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Conduct standardized and informal assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver one-on-one and small group interventions for children with speech, language and feeding needs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress reports; contribute to funding/NDIS documentation.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and other allied health professionals; participate in case conferences.
• Engage in professional development to ensure practice remains current and evidence-based.
