Zusammenfassung

ResourceCo is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety Business Partner to work across our Victorian operations, visiting Somerton, Brooklyn and Hampton Park to observe work, inspect controls and drive practical improvements on site.

You’ll lead risk reviews, investigations and safety coaching with operators and supervisors, building relationships with leaders and ensuring compliance with Victorian OHS obligations while supporting audits and broader environmental and quality responsibilities.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on safety experience in high-risk operations with site visits, inspections and investigations.
• Strong understanding of critical-risk management, LOTOTO, plant/equipment safety and contractor management.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and follow through on actions.
• Experience across multiple sites with prioritising risks and driving improvements.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, mining/quarrying, transport/logistics, recycling or similar industries.

Aufgaben

• Maintain a regular presence on site, build relationships with operators and supervisors, and work with operational leaders to identify risks and improve how work is done.
• Lead critical-risk reviews and verify that controls work in practice, particularly for mobile and fixed plant, isolation/LOTOTO and contractor activities.
• Personally lead incident investigations, gather evidence, speak with those involved and identify contributing factors. Implement corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
• Coach supervisors on risk assessments, safe systems of work, inspections and practical safety conversations.
• Use site observations, trends and leading indicators to focus effort where it will make the greatest difference.
• Provide clear advice on Victorian OHS obligations, elevate serious or uncontrolled risks and support practical compliance.
• Support audits and relevant environmental and quality obligations within ResourceCo’s established systems.
• Contribute to safety planning for operational change, new assets and improvement projects.
