Job summary

LDT SERVICES is seeking a Test and Tag Technician for a full-time, on-site role based in Parkwood, QLD. You will inspect, test, tag, and document electrical equipment to ensure safety and compliance with standards. The role involves fault identification, basic repairs where possible, and escalation of complex issues to senior technicians.

You will maintain accurate records, follow safety protocols, liaise with clients and internal teams, and support routine maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in test equipment operation, calibration, and basic soldering.
• Practical troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve faults safely.
• Clear and professional communication for reporting results with clients and colleagues.
• Solid understanding of electrical safety standards and test and tag regulations.
• Certification in Test and Tag or electrical trade is beneficial.
• Experience in maintenance, electrical, or technical services environments is advantageous.
