Job summary

ASAP Labour Hire is seeking Building/Construction Labourers for Bayside and South Eastern Suburbs Melbourne. Join a reputable builder of aged care facilities, supporting site teams with day-to-day construction duties across commercial projects.

Responsibilities include site cleans, caulking, concrete patching, jack hammering, material handling, and assisting skilled tradespeople while following safety procedures. Valid driver’s licence and White Card beneficial.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Building/Construction Labourer.
• Experience with site cleans, caulking, jack hammering, concrete patching and general construction tasks on completion of builds will be an advantage.
• Strong physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labouring tasks.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
• A valid driver’s licence and reliable transport to and from work sites.
• A strong commitment to safety on site.
• White Card, EWP ticket, Working at Heights, Electrical Spotters and Telehandler / Hoist Ticket highly regarded.
• Ability to pass any required site inductions and comply with PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Site cleans and maintaining clean, safe work areas.
• Caulking and concrete patching works.
• Jack hammering and demolition tasks.
• Assisting with equipment handling and material movement.
• Supporting Dogman duties where required.
• Site preparation and clean-up along with adhoc duties as per site requirements.
• Assisting skilled tradespeople and supervisors.
• Following all workplace health and safety procedures.
