Job summary

Longevity Exercise Physiology and Personal Training is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in Coburg, VIC for a full-time, on-site role. You will deliver one-on-one assessments, create individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing exercise prescription for clients with acute and chronic conditions.

You will work across private, SIRA/WorkCover, Medicare, DVA and NDIS funding streams, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and collaborate with referrers and healthcare professionals

Qualifications

• Accredited Exercise Physiologist with current ESSA accreditation and a relevant bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated experience in assessment and exercise prescription for clients with acute and chronic health conditions in a gym-based or clinical setting.
• Strong clinical reasoning and ability to develop safe, progressive exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial and follow-up assessments, write clinical notes and reports.
• Deliver one-on-one, gym-based exercise physiology consultations.
• Coordinate with referrers and other healthcare professionals to ensure evidence-based care.
• Work across funding streams (private, SIRA/WorkCover, Medicare, DVA, NDIS) and ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and manage caseloads while meeting funding/referral requirements.
