On-Floor QA Specialist — Food Safety & Quality

Yes Chef Meals is a fast-growing producer of ready meals, dedicated to quality, safety, and compliance in a high-risk production facility. The Quality Assurance Officer will be based on the production floor, performing daily QA checks and working closely with production teams to ensure every product leaving the line meets our standards.

You will support QA records, audits and corrective actions, and help train staff in food safety, GMP and QA procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years QA experience in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, FSANZ and GFSI schemes (SQF, WSEP) is preferred.
• Strong record-keeping and on-floor communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsabilités

• Carry out daily QA checks on production lines, including CCP monitoring, temperature checks and label verification.
• Prepare and verify QA documentation, ensuring audit readiness.
• Identify and escalate quality issues on the line and coordinate with production to resolve.
• Assist during internal and external audits and supplier approvals.
• Support training of staff on food safety, GMP and QA procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across QA and production.
