Goulburn Valley Water seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Officer to join our Operations team in Shepparton. You will perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, generators, compressors and rotating equipment across GVW’s water and wastewater assets.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III or higher in a Mechanical Trade.
• Experience maintaining mechanical and rotating equipment such as pumps, generators, compressors and blowers.
• Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
• A strong commitment to Safety and safe work practices.
• Good computer skills and the ability to use digital maintenance systems.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and organisation skills.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call standby roster.
• Adaptable, hands on and enjoy working outdoors and in all elements.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical/rotating equipment such as pumps, generators, compressors and blowers.
• Conduct inspections, fault finding, condition monitoring and repairs; record maintenance activities in asset management systems.
• Record maintenance activities within GVW's asset management systems.
• Base at the Shepparton Operations Centre and join a collaborative team of professionals.
• Participate in an on‑call standby roster and potential overtime.
