Job summary

SA Health in Victor Harbor is seeking an experienced clinician for an ongoing, part-time role (0.7 FTE) in Older Persons Mental Health. You'll join a dedicated team, providing recovery‑oriented care to older people with complex needs, and work within a multidisciplinary environment.

The role offers professional development, clinical supervision, and the opportunity to develop specialist skills while collaborating with nursing, allied health and medical staff in BHFLHN.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessment, treatment and ongoing management of older people with complex mental health conditions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for consumers, carers and teams.
• Commitment to high-quality, recovery-oriented and person-centred care using evidence-based practice.
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams to drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist mental health assessment and care coordination for older people with complex needs.
• Build partnerships with consumers, carers and key stakeholders to support safe, high-quality, person-centred care.
• Use sound clinical judgement and evidence-based practice to deliver positive outcomes across settings.
• Support multidisciplinary collaboration and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
