Job summary

Randstad NV in Australia is seeking an experienced OHW Project Engineer to lead on-site delivery of Overhead Wiring systems for a major Western Sydney rail program. You will manage installation packages, civil-to-rail interfaces, and subcontractor performance through testing and commissioning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, 8+ years of OHW delivery on major rail networks, and hands-on site leadership, with Primavera P6, RIW/White Card, and flexibility for night

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant rail background.
8+ years in OHW delivery, including installation, testing and commissioning.
Proven ability to manage civil-to-rail handovers and multi-disciplinary interfaces.
Strong knowledge of rail safety, ITP/ITR processes and quality governance.
Experience with Primavera P6 and robust document control workflows.

Responsibilities

Drive on-site installation activities across OHW packages, supervising teams and subcontractors.
Coordinate critical civil-to-rail interfaces and handovers between contractors.
Own 4- and 12-week look-ahead schedules aligned to the master program.
Ensure compliance with ITPs, ITRs, NCRs and configuration change processes.
Monitor progress against baselines and support commercial controls.
Champion rail safety standards and electrical network rules on all workfronts.
