Job summary

REMONDIS SE & Co. in Chinchilla, QLD is seeking a hands-on field worker for vacuum truck operations, rig waste removal, and related duties. This casual role offers a consistent workload with the potential to move into a permanent position.

Day shift starts at 6:00am with flexible rosters, ample overtime, and a 25% casual loading on top of an attractive pay rate. Fitness Passport membership provides access to gyms nationwide and strong team culture supports long-term stability.

Qualifications

• Experience in machinery operation, labouring, or plumbing.
• Must be physically fit to handle demanding tasks.
• CSG industry exposure or inductions highly desirable.
• Waste management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with setup and operation of vacuum truck equipment during rig cleaning and waste removal.
• Supporting non-destructive digging (NDD) to safely expose underground utilities.
• Performing washbay servicing, including wastewater removal and disposal.
• Collecting, segregating, and disposing of waste from rig camps and other locations.
• Carrying out physically demanding tasks in varied field conditions.

Work locally in our team at Chinchilla QLD, with a casual contract, consistent work and the potential to move into a permanent role. Flexible roster opportunities (Monday to Friday, 10/4, etc). Day shift with 6:00am starts, and plenty of overtime available. Attractive pay rate and 25% casual loading on top. Qualifications

• Previous experience in machinery operation, labouring, or plumbing
• Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks
• Experience in the Coal Seam Gas (CSG) industry or current CSG inductions is highly desirable
• Waste management experience is a plus, but not essential
