Job summary

ICON Engineering Pty Ltd in Australia seeks a Project Engineer to lead and support offshore infrastructure projects, including Brownfield and Greenfield scopes. You will work under project managers on a mix of brownfield and greenfield projects in offshore infrastructure, drilling rig/platform design, equipment modifications and field development tasks.

Qualifications

Degree qualified engineer (structural or mechanical).
5+ years post graduate relevant engineering experience, including 3+ years in oil and gas.
Proven capability delivering discrete work packages incl. design, sub-contractor management or offshore installation scopes.
Conversant with offshore codes/specifications (DNV, API, AISC desirable).
Understanding of design/fabrication processes, onshore construction, offshore transport and installation methods.
Offshore experience in planning and supporting execution phases is desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop project management skills under guidance of project managers.
Contribute to Brownfield and Greenfield offshore infrastructure projects.
Engage in drilling rig/platform design, equipment modifications and field development tasks.
