Job summary

Tennyson Group Limited is seeking a skilled Offset Printer/Print and Bindery All-Rounder for their Crestmead operation. The role covers operating Fuji two-colour and single-colour offset presses, KSBA, and bindery tasks to keep production moving.

You will quality-check work, set up equipment, perform routine maintenance, and move between printing and finishing as production needs shift. A printing trade qualification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offsiding on Muller saddle stitcher and assist bindery tasks.
• Check quality, follow specs and minimise spoilage.
• Perform routine machine care and keep workspace safe.

Offset Printer / Print and Bindery All-Rounder

With a longstanding team member retiring in April, Tennyson Group is seeking an experienced, versatile print operator to join our Crestmead team.

This is a varied, hands-on role across offset printing and bindery. You’ll operate our smaller offset presses, provide backup and assistance on our five-colour Ryobi and support finishing operations to help keep work moving through the factory.

About the role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating our Fuji two-colour and single-colour offset presses.
• Operating our KSBA.
• Providing backup on our five-colour Ryobi offset press.
• Guillotining and preparing work for subsequent production stages.
• Offsiding on our Muller saddle stitcher.
• Assisting with other bindery and finishing tasks as required.
• Checking quality, following job specifications and minimising spoilage.
• Completing routine machine care and maintaining a safe, organised workspace.

About you

We’re looking for a practical, reliable team member who enjoys variety and is happy to help wherever needed.

You’ll ideally bring:

• A printing trade qualification and sound sheet-fed offset printing experience.
• A strong eye for colour, registration and finished quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and confidence setting up and troubleshooting equipment.
• The ability to work independently and communicate well with the production team.
• Flexibility to move between printing and finishing tasks as production needs change.

Guillotine and die-cutting experience are highly desirable. Experience with Ryobi or Fuji presses, KSBA equipment or saddle stitching would also be well regarded.

You don’t need to have operated every machine listed, but you will need a solid offset printing background and a willingness to learn.
