Southern Impact Pty Ltd is seeking a Digital Print Bindery All-rounder to join our Mount Waverley operations team. This full-time role focuses on operating and maintaining bindery equipment, coordinating with print production, and ensuring high-quality finished products for clients.

You will set up and adjust equipment, inspect outputs for quality, and maintain accurate records to support efficient workflows.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.

Southern Impact Pty Ltd is seeking a Digital Print Bindery All-rounder to join our operations team in Mount Waverley, VIC. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our printing and publishing services division. As a Digital Print Bindery All-rounder, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a variety of bindery equipment, managing finishing processes, and ensuring the highest quality standards across all our digital print output. This position is essential to our ability to deliver finished products efficiently and to specification for our clients.

Key responsibilities

Operate and maintain various bindery equipment including folders, guillotines , laminators and binding machines

Set up and adjust bindery equipment according to job specifications and quality requirements

Inspect finished products for quality assurance and ensure they meet client specifications

Sort and organise printed materials in preparation for bindery processes

Maintain accurate records of production runs and completed jobs

Coordinate with print production teams to ensure seamless workflow between printing and bindery operations

What we're looking for

Proven experience operating bindery equipment in a commercial printing environment

Knowledge of various finishing techniques including folding, cutting, collating, stapling, and binding

Ability to read and interpret job specifications and work instructions accurately

Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output

Ability to work efficiently to meet production deadlines

Flexibility to work as part of a team and adapt to changing priorities

Relevant qualifications or training in print finishing or bindery operations (preferred)

Experience with digital printing environments (advantageous)

Reliability and strong work ethic
