Job summary

Bemac Printing Services in Revesby Heights, NSW, seeks a full-time Offset Print Operator on-site to set up, run, and monitor offset presses, ensuring colour consistency and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong Print Production and Printing skills, including experience with offset presses and understanding of print specifications.
• Knowledge of Bindery processes such as cutting, folding, and finishing to support end-to-end job completion.
• Ability to provide Printer Support, including routine press maintenance, troubleshooting minor mechanical issues, and coordinating repairs.
• Quality Control skills to inspect printed materials, monitor colour, registration, and alignment, and ensure compliance with job requirements.
• Relevant experience in commercial printing or a related production environment; trade qualification or apprenticeship in printing is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets, proofs, and technical instructions, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable time management, capacity to work on your feet for extended periods, and adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a production team.

Role Description

This full-time Offset Print Operator role is an on-site position based in Revesby Heights, NSW. The Offset Print Operator sets up, operates, and monitors offset printing presses to produce jobs according to specifications, quality standards, and delivery deadlines. Daily tasks include preparing plates and inks, loading paper stock, adjusting press settings, performing test runs, and maintaining colour consistency throughout each job. The role also involves basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment, coordinating with bindery and finishing teams, checking jobs against proofs, and completing production records. The Offset Print Operator works closely with supervisors and colleagues to ensure safe operation, efficient workflow, and timely completion of customer orders.
