SA Health - Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Office Manager and Personal Assistant to the Divisional Directors at Lyell McEwin Hospital in Elizabeth Vale. The role provides high-level executive and administrative support, manages diaries, correspondence, and meeting coordination to keep the Medicine division running with precision.

You will oversee day-to-day office operations, prepare reports and board papers, and act as a key liaison across clinical and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities in a complex environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for professional documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health/corporate information systems.
• Experience as office manager, PA or EA supporting senior leadership.
• Understanding of public sector governance and confidentiality requirements; SA Health experience valued.
• A collaborative approach with ability to act independently when needed.

About the Role:

Lyell McEwin Hospital is one of South Australia's busiest public hospitals, and the Division of Medicine sits at the heart of its clinical operations. This is an opportunity to work directly alongside Divisional Directors, keeping a complex and high-performing division running with precision and purpose.

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Divisional Directors of Medicine, managing diaries, correspondence, and meeting coordination
• Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring workflows, records, and internal processes meet SA Health standards
• Prepare and distribute reports, board papers, briefing notes, and presentations with accuracy and discretion
• Act as a key point of contact across clinical and corporate teams, facilitating communication that keeps the division aligned and informed

What You Bring

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to prepare clear, professional documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and health or corporate information systems
• Demonstrated experience as an office manager, personal assistant or executive assistant supporting senior leadership
• A working understanding of public sector or health service governance and confidentiality requirements - experience within SA Health or a Local Health Network is highly regarded
• A collaborative approach and the judgement to act independently when needed
