Job summary

CCAMLR in Hobart seeks a Developer focused on Software, DevOps and databases to join the DIS team. You will support systems development, implement APIs and microservices, automate CI/CD pipelines, and manage SQL Server databases in a flexible role.

Ideal candidates bring at least two years in similar roles, strong communication in diverse teams, and a commitment to CCAMLR's mission and equality. Full working rights in Australia are required.

Qualifications

• Possession of, or progress towards, a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of two years' experience in similar roles.
• Effective communication and teamwork in a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Support systems development and operations across CCAMLR's technology environment.
• Build APIs and microservices and develop UI components in React where applicable.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and manage infrastructure across environments.
• Administer and optimise Microsoft SQL Server databases and data models.
