Job summary

Ability to Achieve Pty Limited in Revesby, NSW is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist - Team Lead. This role combines clinical leadership with team development, guiding a growing occupational therapy service and ensuring high standards of care across rehabilitation programs.

You will supervise staff, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, manage workload, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to maximise client independence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with OTA and AHPRA.
• Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience as an occupational therapist.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong clinical knowledge in rehabilitation and OT service delivery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor a team of therapists and support staff.
• Deliver high-quality OT services, assessments, and treatment plans.
• Oversee clinical practice, ensuring standards and regulatory compliance.
• Manage workload, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Develop team policies and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor performance metrics and service quality; drive improvements.
• Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff training.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments and progress notes.
• Contribute to service development and external partnerships.
