Job summary

MSWA is seeking an Occupational Therapist/Senior Occupational Therapist to join our Kilkenny team in South Australia. The role delivers comprehensive OT services for individuals with neurological conditions, developing personalised interventions to empower clients and enhance independence.

You’ll also introduce advanced assistive technologies to improve quality of life. You will provide therapy across service centres, in clients’ homes, and external facilities, including mentorship to junior

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy (or equivalent qualification).
• Registration: Current registration with AHPRA.
• Driver’s License: Valid Australian "C" Class Driver's License (with no restrictions).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and NDS Workers Orientation module: (or willingness to obtain).
• First Aid & CPR Certification: Current Provide First Aid and CPR certificate.

Responsibilities

• Designing, refining, and implementing assessments and interventions.
• Delivering tailored therapy, treatments, education, and training across our service centres, in clients’ homes, and at external facilities as required.
• Providing mentorship and oversight to fellow Physiotherapists, Physiotherapy Assistants, and student placements.

Education

We’re currently seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist or Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team at MSSANT.

• This role will be part of our Kilkenny Team based in South Australia

In this fulfilling role, you’ll be at the heart of delivering comprehensive OT services for individuals living with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Motor Neurone Disease (MND), Parkinson’s, Huntington’s, Stroke, and Acquired Brain Injuries.

You’ll collaborate closely with clients to develop personalised interventions, empower them to achieve their goals, and enhance their independence in daily life. Your role will also involve supporting individuals in managing complex symptoms such as fatigue, sleep disturbance, cognitive changes, thermoregulation, and upper limb and hand dysfunction. Additionally, you’ll introduce advanced assistive technology solutions to improve overall quality of life.

The Role

Based at our vibrant Mandurah service centre, this role offers diversity and fulfilment, with responsibilities including:
