Job summary

GV Health seeks a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join the Rural Allied Health Team. The role involves autonomous practice delivering OT services in home and community settings around the Goulburn Valley, with an emphasis on independence and safety at home.

Fixed, permanent full-time position with a supportive multidisciplinary environment. The role requires OT registration with AHPRA, a Bachelor of OT, and a drive to work across varied client groups, including home modifications and assistive

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent and eligibility for membership.
• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience delivering OT services in home, community or group settings.

Responsibilities

• Travel across the Goulburn Valley region to home and clinic settings.
• Develop goals and care plans to promote independence at home.
• Complete equipment prescriptions and home modifications.
• Advise on pressure care management and seating.
• Develop in-home and community-based therapy programs.
• Collaborate with clients, carers and families to support community participation.
