Job summary

My Word Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support paediatric clients across Albury Wodonga and Wangaratta. Roles can be full-time or part-time with options for work-from-home days and rostered days off.

The team collaborates with families, schools and health professionals to enable participation and independence. The role offers flexible arrangements, a strong development budget, and opportunities to impact rural communities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualification in Occupational Therapy.
• Current professional registration with AHPRA.
• 1 year of experience desirable.
• Current NSW and VIC Working With Children Check.
• Valid National Police Check.
• Current Drivers Licence and car.
• NDIS mandatory worker training certificate.
• Current First Aid Certificate.
• Excellent organisation and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes and utilise evidence-based practice.
• Professional, warm and empathetic approach to clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and intervention to a paediatric caseload.
• Work with families, schools and other health professionals to meet client goals.
• Deliver services in clinics, schools, homes or community settings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide wide service options.
• Contribute to rural health outcomes and accessibility for children.

Collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Key Workers, and Allied Health Assistants helps us the provide a wide service option to better serve our clients.
