Sharp & Carter is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a bayside Melbourne role. You will assess clients across life stages, develop personalised intervention plans, and support independence and quality of life within a collaborative team.

You will work with diverse clients, including children and adults, delivering evidence-based therapy, documenting progress, and staying current with best practices in the field.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current AHPRA registration.
  • NDIS experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans.
  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with clients (adults), families, and multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide advice and support to clients on the use of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and progress.
  • Stay current with best practices and evidence-based approaches in occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate therapeutic interventions to enhance clients' daily living skills.
