Job summary

NSW Health in Sydney is seeking an Occupational Therapist (Level 3) for Acute Medicine Senior at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. About the Role

You will be working at Concord Repatriation General Hospital. The hospital has a well-earned reputation for excellence in healthcare for over 70 years. Building on its proud heritage of caring for the Veteran community, the hospital now services the local communities of Concord, Strathfield, Burwood and beyond.

The level 3 acute medicine senior is a front‑line senior role reponsible for the management of inpatient medical specialties, including cardiology, ENT, emergency medicine, endocrinology, gastroenterology, general medicine, hepatology, immunology, infectious disease, nephrology, respiratory, rheumatology, surgery cardiothoracic, surgery gastrointestinal, surgery general, surgegry vascular, and vascular. The role is also responsible for supervising level the 1/2 clinician, as well as managing student placements in the clinical area.

Ideal Candidate

• Bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
• Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
• Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including collaborative stakeholder consultation and current NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
