Qualifications

• Hold an recognised degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience delivering patient-centred, evidence-based Occupational Therapy services across a variety of clinical areas.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities effectively.
• Sound problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess situations, prioritise tasks, and develop practical solutions.
• A commitment to professional development, evidence-based practice, and continuous improvement.
• A current Class C driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient-centred assessments, goal setting, treatment planning, intervention, education, and clinical care using evidence-based practice.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage clients within scope of practice to promote functional outcomes and wellbeing.
• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans in collaboration with senior clinicians as required.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes and support safe, timely discharge planning.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, carers, Allied Health Assistants, and other healthcare professionals.
• Work independently while seeking supervision appropriately to ensure safe, high-quality care.
