Job summary

Ability Action Australia is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support participants across the Nowra region. You will manage a caseload, assess function, and develop tailored treatment goals to enhance independence and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapy registration with AHPRA
• Passionate about community‑based support for people with disability
• Thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment
• Time management & organisational skills to manage varied caseload

Responsibilities

• Manage an allocated caseload (based on negotiated hours) and deliver timely therapeutic services
• Assess participants’ developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
• Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants enhance their quality of life and meet their goals
• Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance
