Job summary

West Gippsland Healthcare Group in Warragul VIC is seeking a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist for a casual position within our allied health team. You will provide OT services across Emergency, Acute Inpatient, Community Rehabilitation, Subacute, and Aged Care facilities.

We support professional development with supervision, flexible working, and access to benefits. The role requires AHPRA registration, degree/master in OT, and current Victorian Driver's Licence.

Qualifications

• Degree or Masters in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current AHPRA registration with Occupational Therapy Board.
• Membership of AOTA or equivalent.

• Strong theoretical and practical clinical knowledge in OT.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Allied Health Professionals EBA - Gade 2 -$45.66 - $52.49 per hour

An exciting opportunity exists for a Grade 2 Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic and supportive Occupational Therapy team at West Gippsland Healthcare Group on a casual basis (weekday/weekend).

Our team is comprised of Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants located in a purpose-built Allied Health Building / Community Rehabilitation Centre.

The Occupational Therapy Department provides services to the Emergency Department/Short Stay Unit, Acute Inpatient Units, Community Rehabilitation Service, Subacute (GEM and TCP) and Aged Care residential facilities.

Our department encourages and supports professional development and supervision and support are available to the successful applicant.

Our preferred candidates will hold:

• Degree / Masters in Occupational Therapy.
• Current valid registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) - Occupational Therapy Board.
• Membership of the Australian Occupational Therapy Association or equivalent.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
• A high level of theoretical and practical clinical knowledge in a wide area of Occupational Therapy practice.
• The ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Acute hospital experience
