Job summary

Yesability in Perth, Western Australia is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in a full-time or part-time capacity. You will assess, plan and implement personalised rehabilitation programmes to help clients achieve goals and improve quality of life.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop customised plans, provide individual and group sessions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while documenting progress to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• Registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a rehabilitation / disability setting.
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, goal setting, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ functional abilities, limitations, and needs.
• Develop and implement customised rehabilitation plans to improve independence in daily living activities.
• Provide one-on-one and group therapy sessions to help clients develop new skills or regain lost abilities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for holistic client care.
• Document client progress and outcomes in line with regulatory standards.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with industry best practices.
