Job summary

Facilitate Occupational Therapy Services is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support communities across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven, with clinics in Corrimal and Nowra. You’ll work in a flexible environment, balancing clinical variety, supervision and professional development while delivering person-centred OT services across home, school and community settings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Masters of Occupational Therapy.
• Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
• Medicare provider eligibility.
• Working With Children Check.
• National Police Check.
• Current driver’s license and access to a vehicle (travel allowance applies).
• Two or more years’ Occupational Therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adult and aged care: supporting independence, daily routines, safety and participation in home and community.
• Rehabilitation: working with injuries or neurologic/complex conditions.
• Equipment and home modifications: practical solutions from aids to complex seating and access.
• Paediatrics and school partnerships: supporting participation with children, families and educators.
• Driving assessment and rehabilitation: opportunity for qualified OTs or those developing this area.
• Case management and report writing: coordinating services and developing clear reports for rehabilitation and funding decisions.
• Clinical development: mentoring, student supervision and service improvements.
