Sunflower Services is expanding into allied health and seeks incredible Occupational Therapist contractors. You’ll run your own business, set hours, and work from locations that suit you while we market your services and handle billing and compliance.
You’ll be part of a supportive team with governance frameworks and can take on varied clinical reporting, assessments and care planning, earning up to 116/hr as a contractor with 60% invoicing share.
Love clinical work but not the paperwork? Sunflower Services, a female-founded, reputable registered NDIS provider, is looking for Incredible Occupational Therapist contractors to be part of something new and exciting as we expand into the allied health space.
You’ll be your own boss. You set your own hours, work from wherever suits you and practise your way. We market your services and help build your caseload under the Sunflower name, and we handle billing, claiming and compliance so you can focus on your clients. If you already have clients who’d like to keep seeing you, they’re welcome to come across too, with their consent.
You’ll work within our clinical governance framework, and have the opportunity to work alongside our support workers, recovery coaches and SIL and ILO teams, so there’s a team around every participant.
Sunflower Services is a well founded registered NDIS provider (Registration No. 4050091156) helping people live meaningful, connected lives. From our hubs in Newcastle, the Gold Coast and Adelaide, we deliver mental health and disability supports. These include support coordination, psychosocial recovery coaching, Supported Independent Living (SIL), Individualised Living Options (ILO), respite, mentoring and Specialised Substitute Residential Care for children and young people.
Our approach is strengths-based, person-centred and trauma-informed. Our leadership team includes people with psychology and mental health qualifications, so we understand clinical work and value the people who do it. We live by our values (Be Genuine, Empower People, Trust, Excellence, Adaptability and Connection), and we even run a fortnightly Sunflower Walking Club where participants and staff walk together.
Be your own boss. You run your own business as an independent contractor. You set your hours, decide how much you take on and practise your way.
Work from wherever. Write reports from home, see clients in the community, or mix the two to suit your life.
Be part of something new and exciting. Sunflower Services is expanding into allied health, and you’ll be one of the first clinicians on the team, with a real say in how it grows.
Earn up to $116/hr. You receive 60% of every invoice that gets paid, at the current NDIS price limit for OT. This includes super if you’re a sole trader.
Get paid for more than face‑to‑face time. Report writing, case conferences and travel are billable under NDIS pricing rules.
We help build your caseload. We market your services and connect you with referrals under the Sunflower name.
The reach of a registered provider. Only registered providers can support NDIA-managed participants. With us, you can work with NDIA-managed, plan-managed and self‑managed participants.
No registration cost or audit burden. We pay for and manage NDIS registration, renewals and audits.
Leave the admin to us. We handle onboarding, funding checks, service agreements, invoicing, NDIS claiming and reconciliation. You’re paid fortnightly, and we generate your invoices for you.
Astalty. Astalty is the platform we use for administration, document storing, case notes, billing and record keeping.
Varied, meaningful assessment work. We run SIL and ILO homes, respite and SSRC, so Home & Living reports, FCAs and assistive technology are central to what we do.
Tools ready to go. You’ll have Astalty practice software, Microsoft 365 and ready‑to‑use templates for FCAs, plan reviews, Home & Living reports and more.
We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTIQA+ people, and people with lived experience of disability or mental health.
