Job summary

Bloom Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide evidence-based, neurodiversity-affirming care to NDIS participants aged 0–65 in a community-based role with the flexibility to work from home for planning and admin. You will join a supportive, mentored team that values collaboration and professional growth.

Autonomy is balanced with structured supervision, and teams may arrange weekly or fortnightly office days in the CBD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy (OT) degree.
• AHPRA registration is required to practice as an OT.
• Driver’s licence and registered vehicle is preferred for community visits.
• Passion for neurodiversity-affirming practice and helping people thrive.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy to NDIS participants aged 0–65 in a community-based role.
• Provide planning and admin tasks from home where possible.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in supervision and mentorship.

Even with the autonomy this role provides, there is a strong team culture in each state. Whether you are a new grad, or an experienced OT, you’ll be supported, mentored and supervised by experienced clinicians. While not required, many teams organise collaborative office days in the CBD on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
