About the opportunityThis opportunity is suited to a highly motivated clinician who possesses advanced experience in the provision of clinical supervision, professional support and development of Occupational Therapists to join our Occupational Therapy team at Townsville University Hospital.This role is responsible for the provision and co-ordination of high-quality clinical supervision and professional support to Occupational Therapy health practitioners across the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS). The role supports the implementation of Clinical Governance requirements including maintaining standards of clinical practice and ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and patient centred services to in accordance with organisational goals. It provided clinical leadership in building the capability, skills and expertise of the Occupational Therapy workforce across THHS.You will be working in a supportive and friendly department where autonomy and innovation are highly valued, and ongoing learning and professional development opportunities are encouraged and supported.Working in a tertiary teaching hospital with links to James Cook University, you will have access to academic resources and potential research collaborations, further enhancing your professional growth and development.In addition to the above, joining our team offers the opportunity to be part of an effective and motivated group of clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality healthcare.
