The Role
We predominantly see our clients in their homes, group homes, aged care facilities or in a public setting. One morning you may be helping someone trial a new wheelchair as they visit their local cafe or helping someone cook independently or advising on some new assistive technology to make staying at home more comfortable and functional.
This role is ideal if you like to have genuine flexibility and control over how you structure your days - meaning your individuality is recognised + you don't miss family time or life after work.
Depending where you are living, we'll tailor your caseload to service clients close to home. Your personalised admin support team will work with you to ensure you aren't zigzagging around the Coast.
You could join us either full-time or part-time and we have an office in Erina (or Toronto) for you to use as a home base from which to see clients and your colleagues.
You will be supported to confidently:
We see people living with lifelong disabilities, neurological conditions (MND, MS, Parkinsons, Stroke), TBI/ABI, Autism/ASD, amputations, hearing or vision impairments and more. You'll service a varied caseload meaning lots of interesting things to learn and you'll never get bored!
About You
Qualifications in Occupational Therapy and AHPRA registration
Current driver's license with use of own vehicle
You are passionate about working with adolescent and adult clients

Recovery Station provides community and clinic based allied health services, with a strong focus on disability and senior health. For 20 years we have grown and now proudly offer services in the community across Sydney, the Hunter, Central Coast, Tamworth and nationally via telepractice.
Together, our passionate multidisciplinary team of OTs, Mental Health OT’s, Psychologists, Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Allied Health Assistants collaboratively share their knowledge and experience to holistically design an individualised service to help improve the quality of life for people living with a disability or looking to age as independently as possible.

We trust you to work from home, or in the office, via telehealth and we give you a laptop and pay a phone/ data allowance to support this
A member of our administrative team will assist you with scheduling your appointments efficiently to minimise travel, to make calls and take messages for you whilst you're in sessions and to assist with the maintenance of compliance documentation, such as setting up and adjusting funding plans
Travel is reimbursed at $0.99/km + tolls and parking at appointments

Your thorough Orientation will be supported by ongoing one on ones with your Supervisor to discuss your goals with a personalised CPD plan. We'll help you set your learning goals and plan what you'd like to upskill in.
One on ones will be complemented with monthly inservices with other OT's so you can learn from external presenters, share ideas, resources and stay up to date with any industry updates
We love facilitating development pathways with clinicians seeking career progression and added responsibility via either supervising students/ grads/ junior staff, increased complexity of caseload or involvement in management procedures depending on what avenue you'd like to explore
