Job summary

Beyond Limits Paediatric Therapy in Camden, NSW, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a growing team serving children from 0–16 years with disabilities. The role covers clinic and community visits, including preschool, school and home settings.

The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team, using an evidence-based approach, and will have access to ongoing supervision, a development budget and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience undertaking evidenced based clinical assessments and providing therapeutic interventions to meet children’s needs.
• Understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
• Ability to form working relationships based on trust and respect.
• The capacity to deliver services to diverse clients and consider family characteristics.
• Current Working with Children's Check and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Work within a dynamic growing team of professionals dedicated to providing the best outcomes for children with developmental delay and/or disabilities.
• Adopt a family-focused and strengths-based approach with all client interactions.
• Assess and coordinate the delivery of therapy services to children with developmental delay and/or disabilities.
• Ability to work independently with strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellence in verbal and written communication and documentation.
• Promote children’s inclusion through daily routines at home, community and early childhood settings.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
