Job summary

Royal Rehab Private Petersham is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health Team. You will work across Inpatient Rehab, Day Rehab and LifeWorks within a private rehabilitation hospital focused on evidence-based care and patient outcomes.

New graduates are encouraged to apply and, if successful, offered a two-year fixed-term contract with graduate education, training programs, clinical support and development opportunities to build confidence and transition into

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Sound time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth and development.
• Current C Class (unrestricted) driver’s license.
• Previous experience working within a private hospital or rehabilitation setting.
• Experience with completion of reports for ENABLE and Home Modification agencies.
• Experience with completion of reports for NDIS.
• Experience with staff, student or Allied Health Assistant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality OT interventions across Inpatient Rehab, Day Rehab and LifeWorks.
• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of OT interventions within a patient-focused and goal-centred framework.
• Working collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure that the patient receives an integrated service that meets their needs.
• Providing cover to other units from time to time upon request.

About The Role..

We are seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated team in Petersham. As a key member of the Allied Health Department, you will work across our Inpatient Rehab Unit, Day Rehab Program and Royal Rehab LifeWorks service at Royal Rehab Private Petersham (RRPP).

For successful applicants with previous clinical experience, the position will be offered on a permanent full-time basis.

New graduates are also encouraged to apply and, if successful, will be offered a two-year fixed-term contract, with access to dedicated graduate education and training programs, clinical support and professional development opportunities to help build confidence, consolidate clinical skills and support the transition into professional practice.

Key Responsibilities Include
