Royal Rehab LifeWorks Community in Brisbane is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our LifeWorks service within a multidisciplinary team. You will support people to engage socially and economically in the community, tailoring services to individual strengths and needs.

New graduates and experienced therapists are welcome to apply, with opportunities to lead growth, deliver high-quality services, and provide supervision within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
• Experience working with a variety of disabilities, including complex supports.
• Knowledgeable in development and implementation of OT assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
• Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with a range of stakeholders within a therapeutic support framework.
• Tailoring services that are individualised and strength based.
• Develop, implement and review therapy needs, intervention plans and strategies with clients, family, carers, and their service providers.
• Conduct and complete reports as required

You are a passionate Occupational Therapist looking to make a positive impact in the community.

Essential Criteria

• Degree qualified and registered as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
• Experienced working with a variety of disabilities, including those that require complex supports.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in the development and implementation of occupational therapy assessment and intervention strategies in a disability context.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle
