Avina in Port Pirie is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our Port Pirie team, servicing the surrounding area. Caseload is largely paediatric with a smaller adult component, and you will work alongside Behaviour Support colleagues with strong links to the wider Avina network.

You will deliver person-centred OT services across home, school, clinic and community settings, complete assessments, plan interventions, and support participants with disability.

Formación

• Bachelor or Master of Occupational Therapy required.
• Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility).
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community-based work.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver person-centred OT services across home, school, clinic and community settings.
• Complete assessments, intervention planning and ongoing therapy.
• Support participants with disability, including autism, ADHD, intellectual disability and global developmental delay.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and the broader multidisciplinary team.
• Manage a varied caseload across community and clinic.
• Take part in regular supervision, peer collaboration and professional development.

About the Role

We find our caseloads here typically lean heavily paediatric, with a smaller adult component. You'll be part of a small, close-knit team, working alongside Behaviour Support colleagues, with strong virtual connections to the wider Avina network. Open to full-time and part-time.
