Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.

Responsibilities

  • Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functioning.
  • Formulate treatment goals unique to each participant based on findings.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
  • Advise on environmental adaptations including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
  • Recommend Assistive Technology to aid participation and independence.

#AAA are expanding our team in Katoomba and the Lower Blue Mountains regionand would love to welcome a passionate and dedicatedOccupational Therapistto join us in making a positive impact in our community.

We are open to applications from Occupational Therapists of all levels of experience that are looking for full time or part time roles.

In this role you will:

  • Assessing participants emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments.
  • Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
  • Providetherapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
  • Providesupport and advice on adaptations to the environment including home, school, work and residential facilities.
  • Recommendprovision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
