Sunshine OT and Yoga is seeking Occupational Therapists to deliver client-centred, holistic, and somatic-based practices. You will take on referrals and pursue your passions in therapy, assessments, AT, or home modifications, serving adolescents, young people, and adults within the NDIS framework.

Full AHPRA registration and 1–2 years in the NDIS are preferred. Flexible hours with the option to work from home, competitive remuneration, and contractor OT support are offered.

Qualifications

• Full AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• 1–2 years of experience in the NDIS, including Functional Capacity Assessments and report writing.
• Holistic, whole-person approach with attention to detail.
• Experience or interest in Assistive Technology and/or Home Modifications within NDIS.
• Interest or training in yoga, somatic, or body mindfulness-based therapies.

Responsabilités

• Deliver Occupational Therapy interventions and ongoing therapy support to NDIS clients in the community, with a caseload in paediatrics, adolescents, or adults.
• Conduct OT assessments and write comprehensive reports, including NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments.
• Provide assessments, recommendations, and reports for Assistive Technology.
• Optionally, carry out assessments and reports for Home Modifications.
• Optionally, develop or co-facilitate holistic programs tailored for NDIS and community group needs.

Sunshine OT and Yoga is seeking Occupational Therapists to deliver client-centred, holistic, and somatic-based practices. You will take on current referrals and pursue your areas of passion and expertise- whether in therapy, assessments, Assistive Technology (AT), or home modifications. The service currently serves adolescents, young people, and adults within the NDIS framework, along with a scope for working with mental health, medicare, private clients and older adults.

Key responsibilities

Deliver Occupational Therapy interventions and ongoing therapy support to NDIS clients in the community, with a specialisation in your choice of caseload- whether in paediatrics, adolescents, or adults

Conduct Occupational Therapy Assessments and write comprehensive reports, including NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments

Provide assessments, recommendations, and reports for Assistive Technology

Optionally, carry out assessments and provide reports for Home Modifications

Optionally, develop or co-facilitate holistic programs tailored for NDIS and community group needs

About you

Full AHPRA Registration as an Occupational Therapist

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in the NDIS, including Functional Capacity Assessments and report writing

A holistic, whole-person approach with attention to detail

Experience or interest in Assistive Technology and/or Home Modifications within NDIS and Home Care funding models

Interest or training in yoga, somatic, or body mindfulness-based therapies is a plus

Flexibility to work from home and set your own hours
