Job summary

Henderson Healthcare is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to join our workplace rehabilitation team in Townsville or Toowoomba. You will assess functional capacity, develop return-to-work plans and support clients to regain independence and achieve meaningful work.

New graduates are encouraged to apply, with onboarding and professional development available. Flexible working options and relocation support are offered to the right candidate, with salaries up to $110,000 plus

Qualifications

• A recognised Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy qualification.
• Current AHPRA registration.
• Strong communication, organisation and time-management skills.
• Interest in rehabilitation and helping people achieve goals.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain one).
• Ability to obtain a National Criminal History Check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, workplace and rehabilitation assessments.
• Develop tailored rehabilitation and return-to-work plans.
• Support clients to improve their independence, function and work capacity.
• Manage a varied caseload and monitor client progress.
• Liaise with employers, insurers, medical practitioners and other stakeholders.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive outcomes.
