Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
GCG Health Safety & Hygiene is seeking an Occupational Hygienist to support monitoring, sampling and risk assessment across mining, construction, manufacturing and defence sectors in Western Australia.
You will work across office environments and heavy industrial sites, building knowledge through mentoring and exposure to major projects. A graduate or early-career professional with 1–5 years in the field is welcome.
Most people never think twice about the air they breathe at work, the noise around them, or what's on their hands at the end of a shift.
Occupational Hygienists think about it constantly.
At GCG, we use science, data and fieldwork to help organisations understand and control workplace exposures — protecting the health of workers across mining, construction, manufacturing and defence.
We're growing our Perth team and looking for someone dependable, motivated and comfortable moving between office work and heavy industrial sites. Whether you're just starting out or already have a few years behind you, attitude and work ethic matter most to us.
About GCG
GCG is one of Australia's leading occupational hygiene and workplace health consultancies, helping organisations build safer, healthier and more compliant workplaces.
With teams across the country, we partner with clients in construction, mining, energy, infrastructure and government. Our work centres on measuring, understanding and managing workplace health risks — airborne contaminants, noise exposure, hazardous substances and other environmental factors that affect worker wellbeing.
Our Perth office is collaborative and growing fast. People here are encouraged to ask questions, learn quickly and take ownership of their own development. We put real weight behind mentoring and knowledge sharing, because we're building long-term careers in occupational hygiene, not filling seats.
What The Role Looks Like

Depending on your experience, you'll either work alongside our experienced hygienists or take the lead on smaller projects yourself.
