Job summary

ARBEX, based at Millicent Mill, seeks an experienced Occupational Health & Return to Work Coordinator to support wellbeing, injury management and legislative compliance across the workforce. You’ll collaborate with the Health & Safety team and Operations Leaders to drive holistic health initiatives.

Required are RTW coordination skills, health program experience, and strong communication; Nursing qualifications are preferred but not essential.

• Demonstrated strength in Return-to-Work coordination and RTW legislation.
• Experience in occupational health, injury management or rehabilitation coordination.
• Understanding of psychosocial hazards and mental health support pathways.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating Return-to-Work plans, claims and stakeholder relationships with professional advice.
• Delivering occupational health support and providing data to inform policies and wellbeing programs.
• Promoting wellbeing resources including EAP, onsite counselling and physiotherapy.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records and supporting audit readiness.

About You

In this professional role, you’ll focus on supporting our people and operations while putting safety, mutual respect and human dignity at the centre.

Based at our Millicent Mill, the Occupational Health & Return to Work Coordinator supports employee wellbeing, occupational health, injury management and legislative compliance. You’ll work alongside the wider Health & Safety team and Operations Leaders to provide a holistic approach to health and wellbeing across our workforce.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating Return-to-Work plans, claims and stakeholder relationships, while providing professional advice and supporting early intervention
• Delivering occupational health support and providing data and statistical analysis to inform policies and workplace wellbeing programs
• Promoting wellbeing and psychological safety resources, including EAP, onsite counselling, physiotherapy and other employee support services
• Maintaining accurate, timely and confidential records and systems, while supporting self-insurance compliance and audit readiness

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated strength and experience in Return-to-Work coordination, including strong knowledge of RTW legislation, early intervention principles and workplace health programs
• Experience in occupational health, injury management or rehabilitation coordination
• Understanding of psychosocial hazards and mental health support pathways
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across all organisational levels

Preferred Qualifications

• A qualification in Nursing as a Registered Nurse is preferred, but not essential
• Experience using Microsoft Office and occupational health software systems such as Cority
