Job summary

ForHealth in Campsie is seeking a qualified Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist to join our Occupational Health team on a casual basis. You will deliver onsite medical screening, injury prevention services and workers' compensation support while providing high-quality administrative support.

You will build strong relationships with workers, clients and healthcare professionals, ensuring excellent service delivery and accurate reporting to clients on health assessments and pre-employment

Qualifications

• Qualified as an Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform onsite occupational health and medical screening services.
• Complete functional capacity assessments.
• Conduct drug and alcohol screening, spirometry, ECGs and audiometry.
• Support injury prevention initiatives and workplace health programs.
• Coordinate GP correspondence and follow-up as required.
• Arrange medical appointments and liaise with stakeholders.
• Prepare accurate reports for clients and maintain records.
• Assist with pre-employment health assessments and other tasks.
• Maintain clinical rooms, equipment and stock levels.
• Complete administrative documentation for accreditation.
• Record onsite service delivery for billing purposes.
• Travel to client sites as required and report hazards.

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Exercise Scientist to join our Occupational Health team in Campsie on a casual basis. This is a varied and rewarding role combining onsite medical screening, injury prevention services, workers' compensation support, and occupational health administration.

The Role

As an Occupational Health Assessor, you will deliver high-quality occupational health services to workers and corporate clients. You will conduct workplace health assessments, support injury prevention initiatives, and help create safer and healthier workplaces.

Working as part of a supportive team, you will build strong relationships with workers, clients, and healthcare professionals while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite occupational health and medical screening services.
• Complete functional capacity assessments.
• Perform drug and alcohol screening, spirometry, ECGs, and audiometry.
• Support injury prevention and workplace health initiatives.
• Coordinate GP correspondence and follow-up according to client requirements.
• Arrange medical appointments for injured workers and liaise with relevant stakeholders.
• Review assessment results and provide accurate, high-quality reports to clients.
• Support workers throughout pre-employment medicals and health assessments.
• Maintain assessment rooms, clinical equipment, and stock levels.
• Complete administrative documentation in line with accreditation requirements.
• Accurately record onsite service delivery for billing purposes.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Promote safe work practices and promptly report hazards and incidents.
