Job summary

ForHealth Group in Melton is seeking a qualified Exercise Scientist to join our Occupational Health team on a casual basis. You will conduct onsite health assessments, functional capacity tests, and support injury prevention initiatives for workers and corporate clients.

This role involves travel to client sites, data reporting, and coordinating with GPs, with a focus on high-quality service and workplace wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Qualification as an Exercise Scientist or Exercise Physiologist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite occupational health and medical screening services.
• Complete functional capacity assessments.
• Perform drug and alcohol screening, spirometry, ECGs, and audiometry.
• Support injury prevention and workplace health initiatives.
• Coordinate GP correspondence and follow-up according to client requirements.
• Arrange medical appointments for injured workers and liaise with stakeholders.
• Review assessment results and provide accurate, high-quality reports to clients.
• Support workers throughout pre-employment medicals and health assessments.
• Maintain assessment rooms, clinical equipment, and stock levels.
• Complete administrative documentation in line with accreditation requirements.
• Accurately record onsite service delivery for billing purposes.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Promote safe work practices and promptly report hazards and incidents.

The Role
